Ecologist

We are seeking a number of enthusiastic ecologists, (senior & assistant) either full or part time, to join our team at AEWC Ltd.

We are a multi-disciplined consultancy running a range of varied projects looking for ecologists with a real passion for this field, who are self-organised, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team, have a full clean driving licence and be capable of working flexible hours as required by the surveys conducted.

Position: Ecologist/Senior Ecologist 

Do you have experience of phase 1 habitat and protected species assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations, report writing skills, as well as at least one protected species licence including GCN and/or dormouse?

The role includes managing projects from quotation to invoicing, undertaking surveys, liaising with clients, data analysis and producing and validating reports, as well as working with the team on larger projects. Experience holding EPS mitigation licences is desirable. Competitive salary in the region of £30-38k+ PA pro rata dependant on experience and role.

Position: Junior Ecologist 

Do you have experience of phase 1 habitat and protected species assessments, report writing skills and survey experience?

The role includes helping the ecologists and seniors with project management, undertaking surveys, data analysis and drafting reports, as well as working with the team on larger projects, including advanced bat surveys and radiotracking projects on rarer species. Competitive salary in the region of £23k+ PA pro rata dependant on experience.
