We are looking for an excellent project manager with great people skills to lead and manage the Upstream Thinking Project working in partnership with South West Water for Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
Upstream Thinking is South West Water’s multi-award-winning catchment management scheme which applies natural landscape-scale solutions to improve water quality and supply. Cornwall Wildlife Trust is the delivery partner across 4 Cornish catchments working towards a better future for farming, improving and joining up wildlife habitats and restoring wetlands.
The role reports to the Head of Conservation and includes line management of 10 project officers, responsibility for the budget and remote project office. The project manager will continue to build relationships with South West Water, match funders and other Cornwall Wildlife Trust staff. They will also lead on the proposal for a further project phase (beginning in 2025).
This role is fixed term until the 31 March 2025 (with possibility of extension) and is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. There may be an occasional need to work outside of these hours (evening/weekend work) to fulfil the needs of the project.
The salary for this role is £27,025 - £30,430 dependent on experience.
Location: Project Office at King Edward Mine Workspaces, Troon, TR14 9HW with a combination of office and hybrid working.
