About the role
We are looking for countryside workers to join our team maintaining Staffordshire’s network of public footpaths and bridleways. You will play a vital role helping to maintain our rights of way to ensure they are safe and usable for people to access and enjoy. The role includes audits and identifying works required, undertaking practical maintenance and management tasks to a high standard, working with volunteers, and liaising with the public and landowners.
What you’ll bring
With excellent practical skills and used to working outdoors in remote and sometimes challenging conditions, you will also be a good people person, able to work with volunteers and engage with landowners and path users. You will have a good general understanding of rights of way and countryside management, be competent in ensuring safe operating practices and will undertake training as required to increase and refresh your skills.
