Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and we are seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager for West Yorkshire. This is a new position at the Trust, initially for a fixed term of 2 years, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent. We are also open to someone who may wish to take up the position as a secondment from their current employer.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to lead a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust team and develop a new flagship site for nature, near Huddersfield. You will use your business development skills, creative thinking and collaborative working to ultimately deliver our ambitions for the sustainable future of the site.

In addition, you will manage our existing Regional Projects Team, overseeing the delivery of exciting environmental improvement projects across West Yorkshire, working with partners to restore landscapes and river catchments for nature whilst also engaging with local communities to help make Yorkshire a wilder place for nature.
