We are looking for a passionate and committed person to join our Wider Countryside Conservation team and lead the Trust’s growing Land Advice Service. The ideal candidate will have a nature conservation background, with experience in delivering and implementing land management advice on farmed land, ideally within a consultancy environment, and an interest in sustainable agriculture.
With 76% of land in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire classified as agricultural, the way that this land is managed has a big impact on wildlife. But the way agricultural land is managed in the UK is rapidly evolving, and BBOWT is working closely with landowners and farm managers to help achieve the Trust’s goals of achieving 30% more nature by 2030.
This role will be pivotal in delivering our work on agricultural land and building good relationships with landowners. You will be committed to providing a responsive and professional service that contributes to nature’s recovery across the region.
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
