Salary: £31,486 - £34,925 per annum
Hours: 35 hrs per week
Contract: Permanent. This post is subject to Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership for work with children.
High Life Highland is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Countryside Ranger to join our team in the spectacular landscapes of NW Sutherland. This role replaces a long‑serving ranger who has played a key part in the local community and offers a unique opportunity to work with an award‑winning ranger service.
As a Countryside Ranger, you will deliver a high‑quality service across countryside and community sites owned or managed by The Highland Council and partners. Your role will support biodiversity, promote responsible outdoor access, and provide engaging environmental education for visitors, schools, and local communities. You will also contribute to citizen science activity, green health projects, and the development of interpretative resources such as guided walks, talks, and online content.
