Our vision is for the community places and green spaces of Frome being managed and maintained to the highest standards. Whether play parks, wildflower meadows, historic trees or streets in the town centre our aspiration is that vibrant local communities feel a sense of ownership and pride in their neighbourhoods.
We’re looking for two enthusiastic, experienced people to join our 4 person ranger team reporting to the lead ranger. You would be undertaking varied practical tasks from tending orchards to hedge laying to caring for play areas, while working with volunteers and community groups.
Do you enjoy getting results, enjoy the great outdoors, relish variety and no day being the same? If you can see yourself working in a team with excellent camaraderie and would be excited to become part of Frome’s much valued Ranger team supporting the local community green spaces and promoting wildlife, this could be your ideal job.
