Miscanthus Field Trials Technician
Aberystwyth University are looking for a field trials technician to work on new and ongoing Miscanthus biomass crop projects at the University. The technician will join a team undertaking site preparation, crop establishment, husbandry and collection of scientific data. Travel across the UK to field sites will be expected on a regular basis.
Candidates will need to have a background in agriculture/biology, practical experience including agricultural vehicles and trailers, previous experience in experimental design, and a willingness to undertake training in specialised aspects of field and glasshouse operations.
36.5 hours per week, fixed term until 31 March 2025. Grade 5: £24,285-£27,131 per annum.
