Salary: £27,944 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: 6 month Fixed Term
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
Based at: Elm Tree Court, Devizes with some home working
Critical to achieving Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s aims to support nature’s recovery, help people connect with nature and live more sustainably, this exciting new post will increase the financial support we receive from grant funders to fund the charity’s ambitious growth plans. Subject to performance there is potential for the post to become permanent after 6 months. The role offers the opportunity to develop new grant funder relationships and write bids that lead to major support as well as stewarding existing grant supporter relationships, increasing their support by taking them on supporter journeys. By raising large restricted and unrestricted amounts you will play a key role in enabling growth in all that the Trust does for wildlife and people across Wiltshire and beyond.

We are looking for an experienced grants fundraiser with a demonstrable interest in the environment. A proven ability to devise and implement fundraising plans and steward funder journeys, including reporting, is essential. The successful candidate will be innovative, creative, confident, able to seize the initiative and work calmly under pressure to manage multiple deadlines. We are looking for a strong and diplomatic communicator who can inspire donors by creating and delivering compelling, tailored applications and cases for supporting all our work. The postholder will be a strong, collaborative team player; working closely with other members of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications team and project teams throughout the Trust.
