Epping Forest Heritage Trust is a charity and membership organisation that inspires and educates people about Epping Forest, undertakes hands on conservation work and protects the Forest through advocacy and research.
We are at a very exciting stage in the development with a new strategy, dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and a commitment to protect and preserve Epping Forest for generations to come.
We are excited to be recruiting a part time female conservation officer to join our team. You will work closely with our existing conservation officer to grow our conservation activities, with a sharp focus on increasing the diversity of our conservation volunteers. As a part of that focus you will set up and run women-only conservation activities in the Forest.
If you have a love for nature, fantastic interpersonal skills, a background in conservation or teaching and a commitment to involving people from our local communities in our work this might be just the role for you.
We aim to have a diverse staff team that reflects the communities surrounding the Forest, and are particularly keen to attract candidates from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.
We offer a full induction and training as necessary to help you fulfil the role. We are open to the role being delivered flexibly.
