The Foundation for Common Land, National Trust, the Lake District National Park Authority and a broader partnership will deliver better outcomes for upland commons and those who look after them.
This is an opening to make a difference to one of England's most iconic upland landscapes. Thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund funding of £3million, Our Common Cause project will conserve and enhance the heritage of Commons in uplands in England. We have already recruited great project officers in Dartmoor, the Yorkshire Dales and Shropshire Hills, we are looking for an officer in the Lake District to complete the team.

Do you have Project Management skills? Confident managing projects as varied as restoring upland peatbogs, overseeing vets delivering better health outcomes for upland sheep flocks, or organising training programmes and public events.
You will be employed by the National Trust on secondment to the Foundation for Common Land.
