Project Delivery Manager (Major Projects)

We are making immense progress at pace with a network of Habitat Banks opening across England already and many more to follow in the coming months, we are now ready to start the first of our major projects and are currently looking for a Project Manager for our Major Projects team.

Our Ideal candidate

As our new Project Manager (Major Projects) you’ll be responsible for the effective mobilisation, consenting and timely delivery of our first Major Project of more than 500ha of wild landscapes in East Anglia. This is an exciting role for an experienced project or programme manager with a track record in large scale nature restoration, NbS or land based projects seeking a career defining role in a forward thinking and rapidly expanding business where you will make a difference. This transformational project will restore more than 500ha of agricultural land, build ecosystem resilience and integrity in the region and deliver impactful, investable, nature positive outcomes that will contribute significantly to this important landscape.

You will have 8+ years’ experience with solid knowledge in land based project mobilisation and delivery.

This is an exciting role that will build on your enthusiasm for the restoration of landscapes at scale and pace.

Key Duties will involve

  • Development and delivery of a Project Management Programme including forecasting and reporting on budget (Estimated mobilisation/consenting period 1 - 2 years, capital works delivery 2 years).
  • Plan, implement and lead on regular team and landowner project meetings – document and drive actions.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the consenting programme through the management of a third-party consenting team.
  • Development, delivery and leadership of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (working closely with the wider project team).
  • Work seamlessly with our project ecologists, land, legal and commercial teams.
  • Develop the Master Habitat Management Plan (to be implemented by the landowner) with our in house technical teams and the landowner estate team.

   
Qualifications and skills preferred:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills (ideally a formal qualification in project management but not essential)
  • A passion for nature recovery
  • Demonstrable experience of stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
  • Experience of managing consenting programmes (using third parties as needed)
  • Experience managing and delivering projects on programme and to budget with a capital value of >£2m
  • Proactive, agile and self motivated
  • Ideally located in or commutable distance to East Anglian for site visits (Full UK driving licence)
  • Experience of the delivery and project management of at least 1 landscape scale (>50ha) nature restoration project desirable.

  • Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
