Middlemarch Environmental

Submissions Administrator

We’re recruiting for a Submissions Administrator to join us and support the continued growth and development of one of the UK’s leading natural environment consultancies.

Middlemarch is an award-winning natural environment consultancy that has recently embarked on an exciting period of strategic growth. Headquartered in Coventry and with regional teams across the UK, Middlemarch provides nationwide ecological, arboricultural and biodiversity services, as well as supporting clients with innovative landscape design and nature-based solutions.

Middlemarch is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Collectively, the Wildlife Trusts are the largest voluntary nature and conservation organisation in the UK with over 850,000 members and 35,000 volunteers working to improve nature.

As Middlemarch’s Submissions Administrator you will play a key role in supporting the Submissions Team in dealing with client enquiries via telephone and email, reviewing and collating documentation, scoping fee proposals and generating bid documentation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all client deadlines are achieved, and this will often involve working closely with our Operations and Fee Submissions Teams.

The Submissions administrator will also need to contribute to the efficient and effective management of tenders being processed on the company’s project management and CRM system.

The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Experience of working in a high-pressure environment with often conflicting deadlines would be beneficial.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with clients and colleagues. Knowledge of project management systems and office systems would be beneficial.

As a natural environment consultancy, all colleagues are expected to hold an active interest in nature and the environment. For this role an understanding of the range of services and solutions a consultancy like Middlemarch provides would be advantageous.

In return, Middlemarch will offer a competitive salary of up to £24,000 depending on experience.

Other benefits include pension, annual bonus, overtime and TOIL payments, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust Membership and access to our fleet of hybrid and electric pool cars for business use.

Middlemarch celebrates diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and is committed to providing fair and equal access to opportunities for all candidates.
