Nature Reserves Trainee

Based at Willow Tree Fen Nature Reserve, near Spalding
Fixed term contract for 12 months
Circa £17,500

Are you looking to kick start your career in nature conservation working with one of the UK’s leading conservation bodies?

Do you want to gain on the ground practical habitat management experience across an array of wetland, grassland and woodland habitats?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person to be based in our South Lincolnshire region assisting managing 19 nature reserves including our flagship site Willow Tree Fen (home to Lincolnshire’s first pair of breeding Cranes for at least 400 years).

Enthusiastic, practical, flexible and highly motivated you will work closely with the Regional Warden in assisting with the planning and day-to-day management of all nature reserves tasks. In addition, you will work with other nature reserve staff and volunteers and partnership bodies across the Trust in nature reserve related tasks.
