We’re looking for a Million Trees Project Officer to join our Trees and Woodlands team within Derbyshire County Council’s Countryside Service.
This role will focus on the development and delivery of the Council’s Million Trees Project, to promote and facilitate public and corporate participation in tree planting, woodland creation and habitat restoration to achieve and exceed the project target of 1 million trees by 2030.
A good proportion of this role will involve community outreach through workshops and events as well as working closely with colleagues in Countryside and the Environment Studies team.
