The role is for 35 hours per week and the contract is until September 2022. The salary starts at £22,500 per annum.
We are looking to appoint a confident, innovative and enthusiastic person to join our team, as a Community and Engagement Officer.
The purpose of the post is Enabling Revitalising Redesdale Landscape Partnership to meet it’s key aim: to engage a wider range of people in heritage activity. Connecting people with Redesdale. Engaging and enthusing the local and wider communities, focusing on Redesdale’s landscape, environment, cultural and natural history. Placing emphasis on working with residents, young people and groups who identify as marginalised or excluded from nature and countryside. Providing interesting events and activities for locals and visitors. Leading on the delivery of specific projects including: Star Cairns, Redesdale Revitalises landscape festival, co-ordinating volunteering activities across the project in it’s final year of delivery. Support, monitor and advise on scheme wide aspects of volunteering and learning.
