NRW is looking to recruit a Rural Surveyor (internally you will be known as Specialist Surveyor) to support its work ensuring that Wales’ natural resources are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used. This wide ranging role directly influences the management of the Welsh Government Woodland Estate (approximately 7% of Wales), enables the delivery of land management with partners and contributes to the management of main rivers and flood defences alongside many other areas of work (including statutory) managing Wales’ natural resources. No two days are the same!
Working with a Senior Specialist Surveyor and a Technical Support Surveyor in a land management team, you will deliver a land agency service throughout the area and occasionally across Wales.
Who are we looking for?
NRW seeks applications from qualified rural surveyor looking to further their career or graduates working towards RICS qualification, ideally on the rural or land & resources pathway.
NRW will also favour applications from those with relevant knowledge and experience and a willingness to follow the rural or land & resources pathway.
