Visitor Centre Manager

<p>Contract Type: Full Time – 37 hours per week (Avg)</p>
<p>Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (subject to experience)</p>
<p>Location: The Suffolk Punch Trust Visitor Centre Hollesley, Suffolk</p>
<p>The Suffolk Punch Trust is a charity dedicated to helping to protect 
the critically endangered Suffolk Punch through its established breeding
 programme, raising public awareness, and training a new generation of 
professionals to work with these iconic heavy horses. With the historic 
Hollesley Bay Colony Stud, we inherited a rich legacy of equine and 
agricultural history that deserves to be saved for future generations to
<p>Putting your team leading, customer experience management and event 
organising skills into use, ‘The Suffolk Punch Trust’ will provide the 
right candidate with a role which rewards challenge with an immense 
sense of pride in a local icon. With the support of the Trust’s trustee 
board, you will have overall responsibility for daily operation of the 
visitor centre, heritage garden, museum and cafe. Working closely with 
the Stud manager, café manager and garden team, you will organise and 
deliver the trusts key seasonal events. The successful applicant will 
have strong leadership skills, able to motivate a diverse team of 
employees and volunteers.</p>
<p>The visitor centre is open to the public from March to October and 
for special events during the closed season. Working hours may vary 
dependent on season.</p>
