Andover Trees United is a growing and dynamic charity working in partnerships with conservationists, schools, community groups, businesses and artists to promote conservation and increase understanding of the natural world and responsible access to wild spaces.
The Charity is now seeking to recruit a full-time Operations Manager to coordinate the many different aspects of the charity’s work, from overseeing the volunteer teams and conservation tasks in our 10-year-old wood (planted by 10000 local children) to the delivery of funded arts-and-nature projects and the charity’s strategic development plans. This post is funded for 5-year’s commencing March 1st with a 6-month probationary period.
Applicants will have conservation and project management experience, strong organizational skills, an empathy for and interest in working with people and be able to build and maintain in-depth relationships with individuals, groups and organisations. Access to a car is essential, as is flexibility, as the post does require working some evenings and weekends. The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS enhanced check.
