Farm Assistant

Farm Assistant-Tatton Park, Knutsford.

As a Farm Assistant, you’ll be working as part of the Farm Team in an incredible place, helping with the day-to-day care of our rare breeds of livestock, and helping maintain Rare Breed Survival Trust accreditation standards. No detail will go unnoticed, so you’ll need high standards of presentation and be able to help with the upkeep of all H & S legalisation. You must be a team player but also able to work alone and use your own initiative.

In this visitor facing role, you will talk to visitors about the work you’re doing, help organise Farm events, provide excellent standards of visitor care, and ensure an enjoyable and quality experience for Farm visitors and users, whilst maintaining a very high standard of presentation, upkeep, cleanliness, safety and security.

A unique opportunity to work on a Farm based visitor attraction welcoming over 80,000 visitors annually. You’ll be working as part of a small team in an incredible place, helping with the day-to-day care of our rare breeds of livestock. 

You must have farming knowledge and experience and be a team player but also able to work alone and use your initiative. Weekend working is part of the job and a driver's licence is needed.
