Fifth Continent Bumblebee Conservation Trainee
Salary £13,632.50 for 9.8 months
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (BBCT) is looking for a full time trainee to work with and assist Dr Gammans as part of the National Lottery Heritage Funded, Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme, with particular emphasis on bumblebee and wild flower surveys, habitat creation and management for bumblebees and landowner advice.
Your primary role will be running and undertaking bumblebee and wild flower surveys, creating flower rich habitat, assist in engaging with land owners and managing volunteers.
You will be a person with a relevant degree or equivalent, have good communication skills, be physically fit, highly motivated, a team player and be willing to work evenings and weekends. You will need a full drivers licence and access to a car. If you do not already live within the project area of South Kent/East Sussex you will need to relocate for the length of traineeship.

This is a full-time, fixed term until 24/12/2021, home based within the project area of South Kent/East Sussex.
