Site and Facilities Manager

Salary: Salary £28,510 (pro rata £22,808)
Hours: 30 hours a week

Bath City Farm is recruiting a Site and Facilities Manager to lead on the practical development and maintenance of the farm’s 37-acre site and community facilities.

You will lead the organisation on all aspects of health and safety and ensure the farm site and its facilities provide a high quality, welcoming, and safe space for all its users. You will play a key role in the development of the site for farming, nature conservation and animal care, with a commitment to sustainable and regenerative practices. You will engage participants of the farm’s social programmes in this work, ensuring the farm is a rich space for community learning, health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a conscientious, adaptable and hardworking individual with significant experience and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of practical skills in land and facilities management. We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of legal obligations with the ability to put systems in place for managing health and safety for a wide range of users.

The role will oversee and undertake inspection, repair, maintenance, cleanliness and development of the site infrastructure and equipment, as well as overseeing capital development works, service contracts, and legal responsibilities in heath and safety. This role is also responsible for overseeing the care of the animals delivered by the Livestock Coordinator and project staff.
