SEASONAL ASSISTANT ECOLOGIST OPPORTUNITIES AT FPCR March to September 2O23

Looking to start your career in ecology?

FPCR are holding an open evening on 9th February at our Lockington (Derby) office for those interested in our Seasonal Assistant Ecologist opportunities. Positions are available at our main office (Lockington) with a smaller number also available based at our Sheffield and York offices, with potential for permanent work at the end of the season.

Prior consultancy experience is a bonus but not necessary for the role.

Required skills include:

• An ability to record field data reliably and accurately to a consistent and high standard
• Good written skills
• Proficiency with software such as QGIS
• The ability to communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary

The open evening will provide an introduction to the FPCR ecology team and to consultancy work, with plenty of opportunity to ask the team questions and find out more.
