Communications and Social Media Officer

Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum is seeking to appoint a Communications and Social Media Officer who will play a key role in the communications function at the Department and provide vital support. The Officer will support the Department in its initiatives on access and outreach, equality and diversity as well supporting a range of external and internal communications, working in digital and print media.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of social media-led marketing and have demonstrable knowledge of maintenance and growth of social media presence and engagement across a variety of platforms. They will be responsible for managing the OBGA’s day-to-day activities for social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes social media. 

You will be responsible for the execution of digital content and social media initiatives which reflect the core brand values and tone of voice of OBGA. Closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Monday 5th December 2022. Interviews will be held in the weeks commencing Monday 9th January and Monday 16th January 2023.

Salary: Grade 5: £27,131 - £32,348
