Business Support Officer – Operations and Business Improvement Programme

We are looking for a Project Officer who will work across the Land Management and Recreation and Public Affairs teams to provide comprehensive project and administrative support to the South Forest District Operations and Business Resilience Programme.

Through these projects, you will also provide a level of remote, administrative support to area teams across the district to ensure continued and sustainable delivery of core objectives.

You will be working closely with the Project Officer and Managers, to provide project and administrative support for the scoping, planning and delivery of the Business Resilience Programme. As a part of this role, you will be systems expert for some of our existing, and newly developed internal systems; have delegated responsibility for managing several internal procedures and contribute to the development of internal guidance. You will take a supportive role within the development and delivery of internal training; organisation and management of regular area team support meetings; and wider ad hoc administrative tasks and responsibilities as required.

You will also provide administrative support to existing delivery teams within the areas of contract management, district Vehicle Machinery and Equipment management, emergency and contingency planning, health and safety systems and recruitment.
