Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Snowdonia National Park.
We are now looking for a Young People’s Officer to join our team in Penrhyndeudraeth. This is a fixed term role for 3 years.
As the Young People’s Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring and developing various youth groups’ engagement with the Snowdonia National Park.
Leading the creation of our Authority’s Youth Manifesto and developing partnerships with other youth-focused organisations, you will attract young people to our park.
You will actively seek and develop new opportunities for engaging young people, such as enhancing the current ‘Young Ranger Scheme’ and starting a new trainee/apprentice scheme. By fostering educative opportunities and creating chances to get their voices heard, you will ensure that even the ‘harder to reach’ youth groups are represented and captivated by our National Park.
