Landscape Architect

£25,000 to £35,000 per annum (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)

The Green Action Trust is one of Scotland’s leading environmental charities and the trusted delivery partner focussed on environmental and regeneration outcomes for Scotland.

We have been regenerating Central Scotland by creating and improving greenspaces for over 30 years, through our passion for delivering positive environmental and social change in Scotland. We are seeking candidates who have a similar passion to help us expand and grow our activities.

As a dynamic, progressive and successful charity, we are now moving into our next phase of development and as such have an opportunity for an additional Landscape Architect position within our Delivery Team.

As the role involves the design and delivery of a broad range of sustainable placemaking projects, applications are sought from individuals with:

  • A track record of designing and effectively managing a wide range of projects types and allwork stages.
  • Relevant academic qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, computer literacy and confident in using AutoCad
  • A positive, solution orientated and flexible attitude to their work
  • Professional membership (including working towards) of the Landscape Institute or another relevant professional body is desirable.

All positions advertised are offered on a permanent, fulltime basis (although part-time and flexible working arrangements will be considered) and will involve hybrid working, based from our office in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. Travel within Scotland will be required, as such a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
