Ecological Surveyor / Bat Ecologist

Permanent full time post based at our Martley office. UK travel will be required.

Essential Skills

• Class 1 Bat Survey Licence:
• Competent identification skills of UK fauna and flora
• Good spoken and written English, with experience of scientific writing.
• Familiarity with planning guidance and best practice
• Familiarity with IT and Microsoft Office suite.

Duties Include

• Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, PEA Surveys & Daytime Bat Assessments, etc..;
• Producing reports to a high standard using our in-house templates ;
• Meeting clients and their agents on sites;
• Regular reporting to the Betts team;
• Assisting the sales team.

Other Desired Attributes

• Relevant experience and survey licences;
• Membership of CIEEM or equivalent;
• Suitable professional experience;
• A clean driving licence and your own car..
