This is an exciting opportunity to join the Field Studies Council (FSC), one of the UK’s leading providers of outdoor environmental education. Field Studies Council is a pioneering environmental education charity committed to enabling people discover, explore, understand, and be inspired by the world around us. The post holder will oversee the digital learning platforms and courses that support The Field Studies Council’s centre-based fieldwork for primary schools, secondary schools and universities. Our learning platforms include Moodle, ArcGIS Online and our website, where learners and teachers can access GIS maps, field technique videos, audio lectures and student worksheets. Our courses focus on teacher CPD and student development and include after-school webinars, ‘live lessons’ from the field, bespoke courses and ‘off-the-shelf’ digital modules.

The postholder will be required to identify new opportunities for learning development with our primary, secondary school and university audiences and be able to develop and support learning products to meet their needs.
