This role will work closely with the Conservation Officer to deliver the RSPB Cirl Country Landscape Plan objectives. The aim is to ensure the recovering cirl bunting population continues to thrive by supporting the farming community through this period of transition in farm support. Alongside cirl bunting habitat improvements, opportunities for other struggling farmland wildlife for example, arable plants and birds such as yellowhammer and skylark, will be developed. Species monitoring and working with volunteers will support habitat delivery and will be a key objective for this role.

Whilst there may be options to work flexibly and remotely, you would need to be Devon based ideally.
