Romney Marsh Countryside Partnership
The Romney Marsh (RMCP) and White Cliffs Countryside Partnerships (WCCP) were created to care for the special landscapes and wildlife of the Dover and Folkestone and Hythe districts, and to help people enjoy them.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual wishing to start a career in wildlife conservation to join a great team and make a real difference to the special landscape and communities of Romney Marsh. Working alongside our team of Rangers, you will assist with the management and wardening of Dungeness National Nature Reserve, Greatstone Dunes, Romney Warren and other sites across the Romney Marsh, helping to implement the aims and objectives of RMCP and WCCP. You will gain valuable experience of habitat and site management, visitor management and engagement, and wildlife monitoring and recording in one of Kent’s finest landscapes. You will get the opportunity to assist with and lead a range of volunteer and public engagement events.
This traineeship has been made possible by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme.
