£16,500 - £28,000pa

Countryside Contract Supervisor


You will have well developed skills and significant experience in the following; Upland footpath construction, Upland and moorland habitat restoration, Dry-stone walling, Aggregate path, multi user route or Mountain Bike Trail construction. Fencing and the installation of access and countryside infrastructure. You will be experienced in the use of agricultural machinery and excavators. You will supervise, and take part in the delivery of contracts to high quality standards. You will be able to problem solve, prioritise competing demands and cope with pressure. You will provide great customer care, and team development skills and training, and promote and adhere to H&S policies. Be IT literate and efficient at record keeping. 


Countryside Operatives


Countryside Operatives will have some experience and practical skills as above. We have a wide career scale and are happy to receive applications and provide training to people with strong drive and commitment who are used to working outdoors.


Excavator Operators


Excavator drivers should be skilled with tracked machines and able to operate in remote and difficult terrain. You must be willing to walk to remote locations to undertake the dayís work which includes building upland tracks and footpaths, Undertaking upland habitat restoration and other work as above. You will also be willing to assist in other on site works on occasions when the machine is not required all day. We can offer flexible hours of work on a weekly or annual basis, part or full time. We are happy to receive applications from excavator or tractor drivers who lack skills or experience, as we are able to provide training.


For all posts you must possess a full UK driverís licence, and have your own transport to get to base.  You will be physically fit and able to thrive in remote environments, sometimes living and working away from home.
