An exciting opportunity has become available for a recent environmental graduate to join our Countryside Management Team. By joining us you will gain valuable experience, working in an interesting and varied role and receive support to develop your portfolio of skills and experience in a dynamic, supportive environment.

 

About you:

  • Graduate calibre candidate looking to develop expertise in community engagement and practical environmental volunteering
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in the environment sector
  • Able to work in an organised and professional manner, assimilate information from more experienced colleagues and develop skills quickly to make a meaningful contribution
  • Excellent communication and IT literacy skills
  • A full current driving licence is essential

 

About us:

We support Hertfordshire communities to make a positive contribution to their environment through volunteering.  Leading practical conservation activities across a portfolio of diverse greenspaces, supporting a network of Friends Groups, co-ordinating the Hertfordshire Health Walks programme and managing our 3000km Rights of Way network.

 

Our multi-disciplinary team currently benefits from qualifications and practical project delivery experience in the fields of: ecology, forestry, arboriculture, landscape architecture, habitat restoration, species reintroduction, reserves management, access and Rights of Way, community engagement and health improvement.
