Land Based Team Leader


Hours: 36.25 hours 5 days a week


Salary: £21,018.05 pa

This is a management role providing professional leadership and mentoring for the Land Based Enterprise’s group of staff and services.


The aim is to provide a supervisory / administrative lead, giving direction to staff across the group of Land Based Vocational Enterprises. This will ensure that through deployment and management of staff resources, an inclusive learning, development and supportive environment is created, where each person receives a high standard of care and support at the levels agreed and identified through their person centred plan, and in accordance with their resource allocation.


The Land Based Vocational Enterprise Team Leader is expected to inspire and lead staff to deliver quality outcomes for all people supported and provide effective leadership and consistent quality across the Land Based Social Enterprises. In addition, this role will network with appropriate businesses and organisations to explore future opportunities and partnerships.




  • Management qualification, e.g. Registered Managers Award, NVQ 4 or equivalent




  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the disciplines that comprise the Land Based Vocational Enterprises and how customer service excellence links into key services
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, meet set objectives and standards
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation and its requirements that supports a positive risk taking environment
  • Previous experience in a Land Based setting
