Summary

Amazing places need a helping hand now and then. You'd be working with the Outdoors team, in particular the Rangers, to keep Croome looking great by ensuring fences and gates are in good condition; trees and hedges are pruned when needed; and all our visitors are welcomed in a friendly way.

What it's like to work here

Croome is a 730 acre estate, designed for the 6th Earl of Coventry in the C18th by the celebrated Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, who designed not only the landscape but Croome Court and other buildings too. We have landscape gardens, woodland and parkland as well as a mile and ¾ long ornamental river to care for. At Croome we ask our visitors to ‘expect the unexpected’, presenting the house and park in a new and exciting way.

What you'll be doing

As the Facilities Assistant in the Outdoors, you'll assist with the day to day presentation the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude. General maintenance work and helping within other teams will also form part of your role. You will report to the Area Ranger.
