What you'll be doing

This is an exciting time to be joining the team. With tall ambitions and a robust Portfolio Business Plan, the Area Ranger, with their team of volunteer rangers, will focus on key organisational priorities such as improving the condition of existing priority habitats at all three sites, exploring opportunities to manage our woodland spaces, creating lowland meadows and wet woodlands and much more. This will support our Conservation Performance Indicator work as well as two of our Higher Level Stewardship schemes. There are also opportunities to work in partnership alongside other organisations such as the Heart of England Forest at Coughton Court, building up networks and sharing skills with other ranger teams. As our portfolio becomes busier, the ranger team will also work closely with the Visitor Experience Manager and garden teams to create engaging and innovative ways for visitors to explore our parkland, thereby coming closer to nature and finding spiritual refreshment for the nation.
