About the role:


We are looking for a talented individual to fill a role as a Green Infrastructure / Landscape Consultant in our Landscape Planning and Management team.  You would be working on a broad range of projects across the spectrum of landscape management, including the development of strategies for landscapes of national and international importance.   


The position will be based preferably in our London office, although applicants for other offices will also be considered.  The post will help to grow and deliver projects including:


  • Green infrastructure strategies;
  • Open space audits and analysis;
  • Ecosystem services and natural capital accounting relating to green infrastructure;
  • Landscape and conservation management planning; and
  • Landscape contract administration.


You will be involved in all stages of projects from tendering through to completion, providing support to senior staff.  The work will include carrying out site assessments, report writing and graphics.  This is a developmental role and therefore it is expected that, with experience, the candidate will build on their skills and work towards carrying out the full range of responsibilities.


You will be part of a friendly, award-winning team of Landscape Managers, Landscape Planners, Landscape Designers, Urban Designers, Planners and Ecologists committed to high quality professional work with a strong emphasis on delivering sustainable solutions.  


Salary will be dependent on experience.

About you:


We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic person who is keen to learn and assist with a range of projects.  Relevant experience would be beneficial however, we would consider candidates who are able to demonstrate an interest in, and aptitude for, the work described here.


You will be educated to at least degree level with a qualification in landscape, conservation or countryside management, geography or other relevant environmental qualification. 


Excellent report writing skills and numeracy are essential.  Experience and skills in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel are essential.  Knowledge of other relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Adobe CS, GIS etc.) would be useful.

An organised and efficient approach to completing work within tight deadlines is important, as is the ability to build and sustain effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
