About Us:

The Country Parks Service has a portfolio of 5 Country Parks and 3 Greenways across Warwickshire serving in excess of 900,000 visitors a year.

Ryton Pools Country Park is a 100 acre country park and is great to explore.  It attracts around 200,000 visitors per year and is the second busiest park in our portfolio. There are many different habitats that are home to a wide range of birds and other wildlife. We work closely with partners to deliver habitat management objectives and have numerous areas of the parks under various agri-environmental schemes. The excellent surfaced paths enable easy walking around the site, and provide access to the adjoining ancient woodland of Ryton Wood, two popular Play Areas and a themed Pirate Trail.

Burton Dassett Hills Country Park has a series of rugged hilltops affording spectacular views in all directions and Fox Covert, small woodland with a surfaced footpath. Opened as a country park in 1971, the 100 acres contain a wealth of historical interest such as the prominent beacon, quarry remains and the nearby 12th Century All Saints Church.

We're looking for an experienced Countryside Ranger to join our team.
