We are looking to appoint a confident, innovative and enthusiastic person to join our team, working at Kielder as the Project Co-ordinator.


The co-ordinator will lead the management and administration of the National Lottery Heritage Funded Building the Capacity and Resilience of Kielder Water & Forest Park project; supporting KWFPDTs Director to ensure the project achieves its aims and objectives on time, on budget and with a real, sustainable legacy for the Trust, its partners and the Park.


The role will include


  • Commissioning external contractors and consultants in line with the KWFPDTs procurement policy and National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) guidance and monitoring progress.  
  • Liaising with partners and organisations representing disadvantaged/under-represented groups to ensure full involvement in the commissioned activity and the training sessions. 
  • Completing regular written and financial reports and claims to the NLHF, including interim and final claims documentation.
  • Reporting to and delivering actions relating to the project arising from discussion at the Big Picture project team meetings.
  • Providing regular updates to wider project partners and stakeholders through input into newsletters, the website and other appropriate media.   


The role is for a 24.5 hours per week and the contract is for a 12 month period.

The salary starts at 20,970 to 24,673 (pro rata) per annum.
