About the role

As Head of Estates, you will be responsible for property management across all aspects of the built environment within our Parks. You will manage and lead a dedicated Estates team and be responsible for negotiating and granting various property contracts, responding to planning applications impacting upon the parks, mapping, space planning and management of the estates database. You will be developing new strategies to increase income from our built estate whilst protecting the Parks.


About you

To succeed in this role you should have an extensive experience within estate management and be a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) or working towards it. In fulfilling this role, you must ideally understand the context of Crown Land legislation and how The Royal Parks must be protected.


With a strong background in licensing, a good negotiator coupled with commercial acumen, and a track record in contract management you will build strong relationships and work in partnership to promote best practice, embed continuous improvement and ensure consistent delivery of the Parks estate. You will have experience in running an estates team and be able to influence performance and behaviour to deliver results.
