The vision of the Garnock Connections partnership is for a landscape with the River Garnock at its heart, forming a connection from the Muirshiel hills to Irvine Bay and around which the natural, cultural and historical wealth of the valley is enhanced, revealed and made accessible for the benefit of communities now and in the future.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented finance officer to help deliver the Garnock Connections Landscape Partnership Scheme, working as a key member of the Garnock Connections team. You will be responsible for managing financial and administrative systems, preparing quarterly grant claims and providing administrative support to Project Leads.

If you are organised and efficient and are enthusiastic about working with a small team to make a difference for natural and cultural heritage, this could be the perfect position for you.  This contract will extend to 31 March 2022, subject to performance and funding. The post will report to the Garnock Connections Project Manager and a partnership Board comprising RSPB Scotland, North Ayrshire Council, Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

This is a partnership project, made possible thanks to financial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, project partners and other sources.
