Job Purpose:

Support environmental monitoring programmes by interpreting and reporting on data and monitoring activity. Play a lead role in analysis and non routine survey work, including when necessary incident response. Provide advice and good quality data and information to customers to support environmental planning and decision making.  Ensure your work contributes to positive environmental outcomes.

 

Job Specific Criteria:

  1. Relevant Degree or vocational training in a related science discipline (Essential). 
  2. Working towards membership of appropriate professional body (Desirable).
  3. Experience of analysing samples, interpreting and reporting on environmental data and monitoring activities (Essential).
  4. Field work E.g. practical experience of electro-fishing (Desirable).
  5. Good IT skills and competency and the ability to manipulate & interpret data (Essential).
  6. Must have a full driving license (Essential)
