Development Officer

Starting salary 21,000 pro rata, based on 90 hours per month

 

Do you have a passion for the countryside and traditional skills and able to share that enthusiasm with a wide range of people/groups throughout the UK?  The Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA) is looking to create a new and exciting role to raise awareness of the craft and heritage of dry stone walling. We are seeking a self-motivated person with a successful track record in creative project management and fundraising who can work independently and as part of a team. 

 

The ability to prioritise work and deal with deadlines is important as well as good communication skills and current knowledge and experience of using social media. Travel will be an integral part of the job so a full driving licence is essential as is access to a vehicle for work purposes.  Contract will initially run for a twelve month period, commencing January 2019, with the possibility of extension, subject to additional funding being secured by the postholder.
