Big City Butterflies Project Development Officer

1 year fixed term contract. Full time (37 hours per week)

£24,307 - £28,083 (Grade C) plus 5% pension contribution

 

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to lead the development of our ground-breaking new project, Big City Butterflies. This exciting project will support Londoners in discovering and learning about butterflies and moths and provide opportunities to test new approaches to conservation in our towns and cities.

 

Based in the London area, you will develop a pilot scheme and stage 2 funding application for the Heritage Lottery Fund, building upon our successful stage 1 application. You will build effective relationships with a variety of potential project partners and test and develop ideas for project activities.

 

The suitable candidate will need to have a good understanding of conservation within an urban context, as well as experience of developing or delivering projects within the conservation sector.
