CPERC Data Officer (part time)

 

Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Environmental Records Centre (CPERC) as a Data Officer. CPERC is based at the Wildlife Trust BCN offices in Cambourne and as the Local Environmental Records Centre for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is the central source for biodiversity information for the area. We work with a wide range of data users and suppliers and the role of Data Officer is central to the functioning of the records centre by fulfilling requests for data and managing incoming datasets, as well as carrying out project work and other tasks when necessary.

 

Candidates should possess a keen interest in British natural history and wildlife conservation and experience of biodiversity information management. Strong data management skills, including working to a high standard of accuracy and organisation, are essential.

 

Job Details: 21,000 per annum (pro rata), part time (22.5 hours a week), fixed term for two years (the status of the post will be reviewed towards the end of the term)
