Location: Dean Bradley House, 52 Horseferry Road, London, SW1P 2AF (and various locations in north London) 


London Wildlife Trust is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to contribute to Water for Wildlife, our pan-London freshwater conservation programme.  The Project Officer will deliver aspects of Water for Wildlife and will be responsible for delivering a coordinated volunteer training programme on surveying and monitoring freshwater habitats, with a particular focus on Odonata (dragonflies). The Project Officer will also help on the production of a dragonfly guide, and maintain the Trustís relationships with partner organisations.  


The ideal candidate will have:


  • significant practical experience of biological surveys and recording, data interpretation and communicating scientific findings to general public;
  • experience of successfully working in partnership with a variety of organisations to collect data or deliver projects;
  • an understanding of key legislation and policy in respect of aquatic conservation is vital to this role. excellent organisational, communication (both written and verbal) and IT skills.
