Salary: £24,293 - £26,318 per annum

London Wildlife Trust are currently recruiting for an assistant landscape ecologist to support the delivery of London Wildlife Trustís consultancy services through a wide range of land use planning projects working with clients in both the public and private sector.  We provide comprehensive, independent landscape ecology advice and high quality design support work to our clients in the development and construction sector. This role will be vital in helping to drive the delivery of the Trustís consultancy services, supporting our vision of a London alive with nature. 


You will be a key point of contact for external clients and as part of project design teams. You will be confident in successfully supporting the delivery large scale developments across London to ensure a high design standard ecology and biodiversity net gain.


You will have knowledge of UK and EU wildlife legislation and policy with strong project management skills, attention to detail and a thoroughly professional approach.  


The qualifications for this post include: 


  • Working towards chartership of the Landscape Institute as either a Landscape Planner, Landscape Architect, Landscape Scientist, or Landscape Manager (or eligible to meet relevant criteria),or other relevant professional body 
  • Associate member of CIEEM (or eligible to meet the relevant criteria), with evidence of progress towards securing full membership
