Salary: 17,500 - 19,500 (Pro - Rata) 18 hours per week

 

Every day TCV works across the UK to create healthier and happier communities for everyone - communities where our activities have a lasting impact on people's health, prospects and outdoor places.

 

An experienced food grower is required to reach out into the community and exchange knowledge and skills to groups of people willing to learn how grow their own food and improve diet. Support work will be based within Birmingham. This fixed term role is funded by the Cadbury Foundation and is offered at 18 hours per week.

Our ideal candidate would be someone with a horticultural qualification with experience in training others to grow. This person must have proven ability to reach out to people to encourage participation and personal development through effective communication. Working in a team to deliver our strategic plan and provide a high quality of service to our clients and customers. There will be 7 groups in total that will form part of the delivery programme.

A full driving licence with 2 years minimum experience is required as the post holder has use of a company vehicle.
