Following new land purchases, we are expanding our reserve management team and looking for an experienced reserves officer to join us. Worcestershire Wildlife Trust manage 80 nature reserves, and this position managing our Eastern reserves contains a rich mix of habitats. These include regionally important wetland sites, semi-natural ancient woodlands and wood pasture. You will also manage Eades meadow and Fosters Green, a National Nature Reserve.

 

Working with our large group of dedicated volunteers you will maintain and improve these iconic sites and develop a wardening team to improve engagement across our reserves.

 

You will review and deliver practical management, co-ordinate volunteer teams for your sites, organise survey and monitoring work and devise projects to develop existing and new reserves. This is a varied and skilled role, and you will have significant experience and a relevant qualification in land management, have good communication skills, an enthusiasm for wildlife, as well as a familiarity with GIS and management planning software. The post requires a full driving licence.
