Logo: Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Staffordshire Wildlife Trust has exciting new opportunities for our ‘Transforming the Trent Valley’ Landscape Partnership Project

 

Transforming the Trent Valley is a Landscape Partnership Scheme lead by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, partnered by a diverse range of statutory and voluntary organisations and quarry operators and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

 

We are therefore looking to fill the following roles :

 

Finance & Administration Officer :

To provide financial and administrative support to the Transforming the Trent Valley Landscape Partnership Project Manager, and to manage the admin of the Community Grants Scheme.  This post is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Salary : £21,434.83 pa (pro- rata); Hours : 21 per week; Tenure : 5 years

 

Wildchild Officer :

The post will focus on delivering our family engagement activities across the Transforming the Trent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme area with a particular focus on Nature Tots, Wildfamilies events and Wildlings. This post is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Salary : £21,434.83 pa; Hours : 35 per week; Tenure : 4 years

 

Senior Cultural Heritage Officer :

This role will be to plan and co-ordinate multiple heritage projects in Staffordshire and Derbyshire which form part of the Transforming the Trent Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme. The post-holder will contribute to other related projects within the scheme and will be expected to work with a range of partners, stakeholders, volunteers and landowners.

Employed by the Wildlife Trust, the post-holder will also be jointly hosted by Staffordshire County Council. The role will require evening and weekend working as necessary. This post is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England.

Salary : £23,125.41 pa (pro rata); Hours : 28 per week; Tenure : 4 years

 

Senior Living Floodplains Officer :

The post holder is responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of on the ground delivery of a number of projects on sites across the Transforming the Trent Valley scheme area throughout Staffordshire and Derbyshire. This role will work closely with the partnership manager and project partners to deliver biodiversity enhancements throughout the project area focusing on the creation and restoration of Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) habitats and Habitats of Principal Importance. This post is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Salary : £24,593.19 pa (pro rata); Hours : 35 per week; Tenure : 4 years
